I went to Dollar Tree to see what they had for beginning of school. I stocked up on some containers for my centers and art supplies but also found these treasures that I am going to use for my pocket chart/interactive charts centers.
With the shapes and color sets I'm going to cut the pieces apart and laminate them. Then the kids can sort the shapes or colors into the pocket chart. With the words I have made the worksheet below for the students to record the words and draw a picture of it as well. We will see how this works with the students... click on the image to download the worksheet (there's a back page too)
